Today was a crazy day.

I was on non-stop dates for 8 hours straight, including a couple of deep tissue massages.

Needless to say, when I finally sat down I was exhausted. That’s okay, because I love what I do for a living.

I can wear comfortable clothes, I have a private studio, which means there is no one around to bother me or my clients. There are no weirdos hanging around the gym, no inconsiderate people leaving puddles of sweat on the benches, and the music is good.

Anyway, after my day I really didn’t want to exercise. I could have believed the excuse I was giving myself: “I worked hard all day training clients and giving a couple of deep massages, I don’t need to exercise.”

True, he probably could have gotten it by taking a day off. The only problem is that believing that excuse starts a cycle … and a bad cycle.

Where does it stop?

Pretty soon I will be telling myself that I don’t have time to exercise.

That is not true. I’ve been telling you for months, possibly years. That is not a viable excuse.

So I was encouraged and did the following training. You can also do it if you have the equipment in your home gym.

Warm up 3 series:

Axes – 15 reps

Push-ups – 15 reps

I had a little over 8 minutes left in my 10 minute workout after warm-up and did as many sets as possible of the following:

Dominated – 10 reps

Dips – 10 reps

I only rested 15-20 seconds after the dives before going back to the pull-ups. I don’t remember exactly how many sets I went into because I was breathing so hard and I was a bit groggy from all those pull-ups.

Needless to say, this quick 10 minute workout was amazing!
