The 2009 Toyota Sequoia is the largest full-size SUV model in Toyota’s lineup, designed especially to meet the needs of the family. The vehicle comes with a three-row seating arrangement, high towing capacity and the best off-road performance.

The 2009 Sequoia is available in three different trim levels: Platinum, SR5 and Limited models. The base model SR5 is packed with features like alloy wheels, triple-zone automatic climate control, full power accessories, and a CD stereo with an audio jack. Enhanced JBL sound system, bluetooth, power front seats and leather upholstery are provided on the Limited version of Toyota Sequoia.

The base model in SR5 comes with a 4.7-liter V8 engine that is used in previous Toyota Sequoia models and delivers an output of 276 hp and 314 pound-feet of torque. Exterior features on the new Toyota Sequoia include remote-controlled heated power sideview mirrors, colored door handles and 20-inch diamond-cut aluminum-alloy wheels for the Platinum model.

Safety features provided in the car include knee airbags for driver and front passenger safety, side curtain airbags, vehicle stability control system, electronic brake force distribution system, brake assist control system and anti-lock brakes. Knee airbags are provided as a standard feature on all upcoming models. The car performed fairly well in the 2008 NHTSA crash tests, scoring well in the overall safety category. It was rated five stars for driver protection and four stars for passenger safety.
