What do you need:

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/3 cup sea salt
  • 3 tablespoons red chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons ancho chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Hungarian paprika
  • 1 tablespoon ground allspice
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon dried rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper

In a large bowl, whisk together sugars, sea salt, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, ground black pepper, paprika, allspice, cumin, nutmeg, rosemary , thyme and cayenne pepper. Using a wooden spoon, stir until all ingredients are well combined. Rub mixture generously over 2 slabs of baby back ribs. Cover the ribs and refrigerate overnight before grilling.

Ideal for chicken, pork or even vegetables.

What do you need:

  • 8 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons chopped fresh rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon dried rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon ground black pepper

Combine the garlic, fresh rosemary, dried rosemary, kosher salt, and ground black pepper in a bowl. Slowly add the olive oil. The mixture should form a thick paste. Brush rub over desired meat or vegetables. Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours. Grill meat or vegetables, brushing on more of the seasoning as it cooks.

  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons chili seasoning mix
  • 2 tablespoons ranch dressing mix
  • 1 teaspoon steak seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon onion salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

Mix brown sugar, seasoning mixes, steak seasoning, garlic salt, onion salt, and ground black pepper in bowl until well blended. The resulting rub should be grainy and smooth. Rub mixture generously over meat and let stand at room temperature for at least 15 minutes before cooking.
