BREW is used between the application and the wireless device’s chip operating system. It helps a programmer to improve applications without using code for the system interface. Can be run on BREW RTOS. The BREW app can work on all BREW devices once the emulator is running.

BREW works faster due to its nature.

Linux

Another well-known operating system is LINUX. It uses the LINUX Kernel and is like UNIX. It is an example of free software and font development. It is easy to use, you can modify and redistribute the source code.

Libraries and utilities come from the GNU operating system. It is the basis of GNU/LINUX. The man behind the GNU project was Richard Stallman. It was created for a free software system that is fully UNIX compatible.
