In a perfect world, we would all have at least an hour a day to dedicate to ourselves. We all would like to eat healthy, get up early in the morning to exercise and strive to instill a healthy lifestyle. However, in the real world, even 24 hours is never enough time to adjust to such “luxuries”.
Time will never be enough; however, with the extremely stressful lifestyles we lead, whether as a housewife or a working professional, taking care of your health has become difficult and managing your weight a huge challenge.
While managing weight may seem like a daunting task to many, one can begin this process by making basic lifestyle changes, such as adopting a healthy snacking habit. One such habit may be snacking on almonds, a rich source of vitamin E, fiber and protein, and many other important nutrients.
Weight Watchers 101
Feel “full” with almonds: Almonds are a filling food for weight managers, as they are high in fiber and protein. Therefore, consuming these nuts leaves you feeling full and can deter you from reaching for unhealthy foods, helping you maintain weight, stay fit, and keep energy levels high.
Research Rationale: A recent study published in the European Journal of Clinical Nutrition found that study participants who consumed 43 grams of lightly salted, dry-roasted almonds daily experienced reduced hunger and improved intake of vitamin E and monounsaturated (“good”) fats in the diet without gaining body weight.

With deadlines to meet, frequent drinks and dinners, late nights and early risers, it’s easy to forget how easy it is to take control of your health. If you’re looking for a way to add almonds to your diet, consider the following easy recipe ideas:
