If you are already part of Global Domains International (GDI) and have been struggling to build your downline, then you are the person GDI Coop is targeting. Let’s start with a little information about GDI. They were formed in 1999 by Michael Reed and Alan Ezeir who were selling domain names ending in .ws (which stands for website) all over the world. In addition to buying a domain name for just $10, along with a website builder, 10 email services and URL forwarding, they offered an affiliate opportunity with a 5 level deep compensation plan that costs $10 per month. Affiliates were paid $1 per referral plus a variety of bonuses and commissions depending on their activity.

Since the payout was so small per referral, affiliates realized that they had to build a large team of people to make decent money. Now this wasn’t that easy, which is why GDI Coop was recently formed by a so-called team of GDI veterans. The concept is that a cooperative of members will help each other build their downlines faster and make more money. Membership to the co-op is $3.50 per month, so you get access to the GDI back office, your own downline rotator, your own general co-op affiliate link, replicated website (advertising you and your downline downline) plus 100,000 visitors/month for every 100 GDI Coop members. The catch is that you need to generate 25 unique leads each day for the affiliate link to remain part of the rotator and share traffic, or alternatively you can sign up for an autopilot system that will deliver the 25 leads to the url and have your own team rotator. This costs $7 per month and then you can start adding your own GDI downline members to your rotator and help them build their downlines.

On paper this sounds like a great idea with the entire GDI Coop coming together and building downlines faster. However, even with autopilot sending out 25 leads per day, those leads still need to convert to sales and new members need to be motivated to build their own downlines. Multi-level marketing is not just about targeting potential customers, it is also about branding yourself as a leader to sell and encourage other people to believe in you and your business before they join you. If you have these skills, you have a good chance of being successful in any MLM business.
