Meditation on bad emotions, incidents, or thoughts can have unexpected results. One may not feel good and refreshed after meditation and just say, ‘Oh, I have too much energy.’

Sometimes we are really over-energized. Sometimes there is a great downpour of divine energy and we feel heavy in the whole body. This is a way of being over-energized as well.

What happens when we are in a bad mood and try to meditate?

When we meditate, there is a shower of divine energy from the crown (top of the head).

As the energy enters the body, it tries to remove the blockages. But we are still thinking about the unwanted things that have created blockages in the body and therefore we experience pain in those areas.

The excess energy should flow towards the end of the meditation. But it doesn’t happen because of the blockages.

This again creates the feeling of heaviness. Excess energy blocked in various parts of the body can manifest as illness, pain, emotional, financial or any other type of physical problems.

How to avoid these?

Meditation gurus tell us many other things to do before and after meditation, but we tend to ignore them because we think they have nothing to do with meditation. The list below may not be all-inclusive, but it does include some things we can do to benefit from any type of meditation practice.

Physical exercise

Light movements of the body before meditation will prepare the body for the consumption of energy and a few movements afterward will help to consume excess energy.

Walking will not be enough, because it does not make use of all the parts of the body. Remember, blockages, which block the flow of energy, appear anywhere in the body. The movement of the body makes it easier to clear the blockage and thus gives way to fresh energy in the body.

Remember a happy event

Any method of activating the heart center at the beginning of the meditation is important to avoid any negative thoughts. One of the simplest methods is to remember a happy event. We need to visualize ourselves in that happy moment and relive the moment.

Grounding

Again, this is a very important technique to remove negativity and make room for divine clean energy. Grounding is done towards the end of the meditation. One can mentally say, “I am grounded and grounded.” This makes it easier to return to earth or the physical plane.

Blessing

Bless the land, the family, the city, the country and all the people around and in the memories. Release excess energy by blessing.

Whenever possible, do group meditations. This will help to connect easily, in case you feel too energetic, you can get help from the people around you. You can also distribute energy with the group.
