When we think of facial skin care, we think of products: face creams, facial skin cleansers, masks, and body lotions. We carefully choose natural and hypoallergenic skin products. We educate ourselves and research the best in the market. Especially for those of us who have dry, sensitive skin or even eczema or psoriasis.

We make sure they are loaded with the right ingredients, as well as vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.

So here we are morning or night for our daily facial care regimen. We shower, wash our faces, and find a towel to dry off. It may seem a bit harsh, but we never pay attention to it. Then we use a handkerchief or cotton to apply the cleanser and remove the night cream or makeup.

So many steps that we do every day without really thinking about it. Here we are ready to go. But something is not quite right. The skin feels tight, maybe even a little reddish. Some might even experience breakouts. We wonder why? After all, we only change the cream and lotion. We use the cream recommended by the dermatologist. Maybe we’re developing an allergy… or it could be the quality of the cotton in our bath towels and bedding.

We all know that facial products, eating habits, and fitness all play a role in skin health. Very rarely do we think about the quality of the clothes we wear. Cotton balls, washcloths, bath towels and sheets are in direct contact with our skin. And with the skin being our largest respiratory organ, it will react to the quality of our clothing and affect the overall health of our skin. Cotton with a lower quality fiber will be less pure and less pleasant on the skin. Not all cottons are the same. The quality of the seeds, the cultivation process, the harvest and the manufacturing process will determine the quality of the cotton.

Cotton is a natural fiber. Absorbs excess moisture from the skin without removing essential oils, respecting the skin’s PH. Sensitive and delicate facial skin will benefit from the softness of high-quality cotton washcloths and bath towels. High-quality cotton clothes and towels are fluffy and soft, gentle on the skin. They not only feel great, but also give your bathroom a sense of well-being, luxury and sensuality.
