Your local association works hard to provide educational meetings and seminars. My local association has recruited speakers from: our local District Court of Appeals, the city attorney, a local attorney who spoke about the Unlicensed Practice of Law (UPL), and a local freelancer who provided information on the area of law. social security law. .

All of the speakers mentioned above provided information about the courts and areas of law that were previously unknown to most members in attendance.

For paralegal students, a look inside many different areas of the law provided a way to determine what type of law firm best suited their interests, personality, and skill sets.

New and veteran paralegals were provided with a clear picture of how the District Court of Appeals works, what to watch out for regarding UPL, and much more.

Although my association is affiliated with the National Association of Paralegals (NALA), many of our members are not NALA certified paralegals. Anyone interested in a paralegal career is welcome to attend, whether as a student, guest, general member, or associate.
