Ok, I admit it. Used to smoke. I smoked for years and well, I liked it. In fact, I still dream about it. But it got to the point where when I looked in the mirror in the morning, I started to look old. Not as an old man, but too old for my age. He was also tired. Like all the time. Short walks to the store or up a flight of stairs just exhausted me and I was constantly sweating and out of breath. I felt terrible and looked worse.

So I decided it was time to do something about my health before I got to the point where the damage was irreversible. He knew that if he kept this pace, he would be on a one-way trip to the land of heart attacks, or worse, to the land of cancer. It was time to stop.

Just then I met my wife and she taught me the powerful health benefits of antioxidants, specifically the juice of the Amazon acai berry. She taught me how antioxidants reverse the effects of aging and help fight all the harmful oxidative free radicals that happened to the cells of the body and that contribute to so many diseases, such as cancer, heart disease, Alzheimer’s, immune dysfunction, cataracts, etc. . I was amazed at how much the lack of such a simple and overlooked substance in our diets can actually cause so many health related problems these days.

After learning about this, I thought, “What did I have to lose?” and so I started taking acai supplements. And in a couple of weeks, the difference was noticeable. Quitting smoking was of course difficult, but with the help of a high level of antioxidants added to my daily diet, I started to feel (and look) so much better, I got to the point where I felt so bad when in reality I smoked, that I started to enjoy how I felt when I didn’t smoke even better, and that made quitting even easier.

I know you can read all you want about other people’s experiences of quitting, but the fact is, until you try it and start noticing the differences, you will never have a point of reference, so I guess I am. trying to say is, it worked for me. Maybe it’s time for you to give it a try? What have you got to lose? Except maybe your health?
