Sydney Wanderers Soccer Academy
The Western Sydney Wanderers Academy offers football training for youth from 6 to 12 years old in a fun and friendly environment. It’s run by coaches who adhere to the club’s ethics and principles.
The Club believes that all players should be able to play international football and it is for this reason that they provide a number of schemes to support and develop their talent as young as 5.
Future Wander Women (age 5-11)
This scheme is offered for boys and girls aged 5 to 11 who have the potential to develop into a future Soccer Academy Sydney star. The curriculum focuses on enhancing their technical and tactical abilities, while building on their current skills.
Pre-Academy Development Programs
This year-long development program is designed to give talented players a taste of what it’s like to train under the Sydney FC Youth philosophy prior to their SAP commitment. It is a great opportunity for these players to train once a week at one centralised Sydney FC location before they are invited to join the Academy.
It is also a good way for players to get some experience under a coach that works with the Academy, giving them an idea of what it would be like to attend the Academy.
The Pre-Academy Development Programme is a fantastic way for kids to train in a fun, friendly and supportive environment before joining the Academy. It is based on the club’s highly respected coaching curriculum and can be taken in 10-week increments or in one full year of 30 weeks.
Western Sydney Wanderers Soccer Academy
Con Boutsianis is an excellent coach who has the ability to review a player’s strengths and weaknesses, and then set goals that are achievable within their skill level. He also provides a positive and supportive environment to train in, helping players build confidence and self-esteem.
He is a coach who demands respect and treats his athletes with dignity. He genuinely cares about the welfare of his athletes and is always willing to help them in any way that he can.
This coach is a great role model for players of all abilities. He has a passion for soccer and he strives to make sure that all the players he trains are enjoying their time in the Academy. He is a great coach and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a new football academy!
His philosophy is to take his time with the kids, to understand their needs and to provide them with a fun and safe environment for them to grow as athletes. He is always there to guide them and to be available if they need any assistance during training sessions.
He has a wealth of experience as an athlete and has a passion for the game, making him a great coach to work with. He is a great motivator and can make players laugh, while at the same time teaching them skills that will benefit them for life.
The team at Soccer Australia is very happy to have a talented coach like Con on board, and we are excited to see what he can do for the Sydney FC Academy. I’m sure that we will see some incredible results from his hard work and dedication!
