As I think most gamers who play shareware games know that the game is called Zuma Deluxe. This game was extremely popular some time ago and it is still popular now. Now it’s a classic game!

For a long time no one in the game industry tries to make a game with Zuma’s gameplay. It was a fear of failure, as someone may know that the big portals like RealArcade or Shockwave.com do not accept the publication of game clones.

But lately we see a lot of games that require a Zuma gameplay idea plus some interesting ideas of their own. Let’s see the games of whis.

The first game will be luxor.

The main idea is the same, but here is a different feature: you explode colored spheres from the baseline. The game uses the ancient Egypt style with pyramids and Pharaoh, you explore the path of the Nile. The game very popular right now.

The next game we will see is TumbleBugs.

In my humble opinion, this game has one of the best graphic works (also like the last game) and uses a very interesting design: you have to save your beetle friends from the Black Bug Empire. According to the in-game information, “In a deep and dark lair in Any Backyard USA, drag the Evil Black Bugs. You, the hero “Tumble”, hold the fate of your beetle friends in your hands. colorful beetles to be enslaved by the Black Bug Empire”. It has some unique power-ups not featured in other games and it has some features to talk about: how about two fountains and plases to shoot?

two other games bob bubble fish Y water pop uses sea adventure design. It is the first game you need to save suspicious little friends. The second objective of the game is not known. As I believe this game was created in zuma game mode with only design changes.

The next game has extremely different gameplay, but uses some ideas from the main game: Twistingo.

Zuma’s Main Idea: Colored shapes are presented, but the game is based on bingo cards and the numbers on them. It requires you to stay focused and yet full of situations to think about every minute. You have to explore the Big Island step by step to find and save the cute animals that need your help.

last game i want to say called zzed.

This game was created by developers from the Russian Federation and has a very interested idea mixed with some zuma elements. It is a puzzle and shooter game with a space theme. In Zzed, you are a space junk truck plot. The spaceship is in the center of the screen and can rotate both clockwise and counterclockwise. You can also move the spaceship, albeit in a very small circle. A continuous stream of space junk gravitates towards you (quite fast, at times) and you have to destroy it before it damages the ship. This is the action part. What makes the game tricky (and addictive) is the puzzle part. All trash is “color coded”. To destroy it, you have to match 3 or more pieces of trash of the same color (here we have some ideas from Zuma). Since you’re piloting a space junk truck, not a super cool X-Wing interceptor, you just call shooting with junk pieces. Every now and then you get bonuses like missiles or bombs, which will let you feel like a space commando for 0.17 seconds, but other than that, it’s all about waste management.

The history of this is also very interesting, but I don’t want to open everything, try it yourself!

Here we see 7 games in some parts based on the classic game of Zuma. I try them all and think which Zuma, Tumblebugs, Twistingo and Zzed are the best and they have many differences to explore. How do you think that?
