Are you confined to a wheelchair? Know someone confined to a wheelchair? Finding it difficult to get up and down from the toilet seat? Do you like to be independent? You like to travel? Does urinating make this impossible and embarrassing for you? If your answer is yes, keep reading.

A few years ago I had emergency surgery on my knees and was unable to walk for a few months. I never felt so helpless in my life. In the past, I could always jump out of bed and go to the bathroom on my own without a problem. When I was in a wheelchair I felt like a dead person rolling around. My independence was taken from me.

Suddenly, she needed help getting in and out of bed. I had to be helped into a wheelchair where I spent the whole day until they helped me get back to bed at night.

I needed help going to the bathroom every time nature called. Something so ordinary and simple had turned into a great production, especially since he lived in a mobile home.

SUDDENLY DISABLED … HELP!

The most embarrassing problem was going to the bathroom. I had to lose my dignity when someone else had to help me stand up, undress me, and help me sit on the toilet. I felt humiliated and powerless.

When I needed help, I had to call a friend who came on a toilet patrol. I was not completely useless. I had my mind, my hands and my arms. All I was missing were my legs.

My friend had to lead me down this long, narrow hallway and then into a small bathroom that was never designed for a wheelchair. I had to painfully limp a few steps and then had to be partially lifted onto the toilet.

THIS FAMILY SOUND?

SECRET:

I was lucky. I remembered when I was younger and used to transport my elderly aunt to her doctor’s appointments. She used this little external urinal that allowed her to stand up and urinate, or she could use it while sitting in her wheelchair.

I remember when he first heard about this fantastic new little potty that drastically changed his life. It was a device made for women that could be slipped into clothing and had a tube that slid into a reusable vinyl bag.

I called her about my problem and she told me where to buy it. I ordered it immediately and re-entered the human race.

Presto, now the writing is done directly from my wheelchair and nobody needs to know. I can do it alone without help.

I CAN ONLY PEIN FROM MY WHEELCHAIR WITHOUT HELP! YES !!!

I CAN ONLY PEIN WHILE IN MY OWN BED AT NIGHT WITHOUT HAVING TO LEAVE. YES !!!

I had the long tube fit into a jar overnight and was able to urinate easily and freely without getting out of bed.

TRAVEL BY PLANE:

During my last month confined to my wheelchair, I had to make an unexpected plane trip to see my sister. At first I panicked for the simple reason that I didn’t know how I was going to urinate while on the plane.

After a few minutes I realized that I could use my little urinal discreetly on the seat of my plane and no one would notice.

I covered my lap with a blanket, used the collector’s bag, tied the neck in a knot, and when I was done, I put it in the “puke” bag and asked the flight attendant to dispose of it. He asked me if I was feeling better and with a big sigh, I could honestly say yes.

OUT OF THE CHAIR, TO LIFE.

When I was able to walk again, I still had a hard time getting up and off the seat. This time I had the answer. I could stand up and go using my little secret.
